Well, sometimes we have to do a little bragging.  This is a picture that was taken of me with Anoka County Commissioner Jim Kordiak.  J.R.’S received an award from Anoka County for all of our hard work we did with the cities in Anoka County to increase recycling rates.  We appreciate the award, and are thankful for all the cities that utilized our services in 2008!!

This one falls under the unusual category for things coming into our facility.  This was just towed in today and is really something to admire.  It is a 1972 Winnebago Chieftain RV.  It looks like it was top of the line in 1972.  This thing is fully loaded.  I was a little hesitant to climb inside though, as the first thing i saw upon opening the door was a giant mouse nest.  Once i got past the nest without getting attacked, i was able to truly take in the beauty of this once magnificent weekend road warrior.
