Eric is one of our long time employees. He has a knack for collecting what some deem as garbage for his own personal use. He is probably the person who coined the phrase “one man’s junk is another man’s treasure. These photos are of his Camaro, his golf cart, his boat, and the bed of his pickup. See the photos for a detailed description. Recently Eric hit a deer, destroying the bumper on his truck. Did he buy a new bumper? Of course not!! He gathered some metal out of our scrap pile and made one!
Here are a few photos to get a general idea of what our facility is like. There are some photos of one of the scrap piles with out big shear, our new mat
Hello everyone!
My name is Mike Larson, the sales manager at J.R.’S Advanced Recyclers. I plan to use this blog to showcase what is new and interesting at our facility. One of the things I would like to do, is periodically post pictures and descriptions of funny or interesting things that come through our recycling plant. We receive appliances, electronics, tires, batteries, bulbs, cars, trucks, boats, forklifts, and any type of scrap metal imaginable. You would be amazed at some of the random things that can be found in our scrap metal piles that come in almost every day. Just two days ago we found an urn from a funeral. It was dated April 2008. I guess someone decided it had been siting on the mantel long enough, and decided to cash in on the brass scrap value form the urn!!
Please stay tuned, as i start collecting and photographig some interesting things for all of you to see!
